Subcomm Pools For The Best In Swimming Pool Heaters Sales and Service

Because of our local climate, many pool owners either have a pool heater now or they wish to have a new heater installed. There are many benefits to having a pool heater, and we would like to share a few of those reasons with you by answering some of the most common question we get from our customers.

Can Subcomm Pools help me decide which pool heater is best for me?

Yes! We can analyze your current pool configuration and conditions and offer expert advice on which type of pool heater will best suit your individual needs. Our sales department has access to several high-quality pool heaters to ensure that you get exactly what you need.

Can Subcomm Pools install my new heater?

Yes! In fact, we specialize in installing all types of pool equipment including pool heaters. Our technicians are trained, experienced, and reliable, and we stand behind every heater we sell and install.

Do you service or repair pool heaters?

You bet! Our techs are some of the best in the VA, MD and DC area when it comes to servicing or repairing swimming pool heaters and other types of pool equipment. We can assess your problem and give you our best advice as to how correct the problem.

Will running a pool heater be expensive on my energy bill?

To be honest, it can be. The more you operate the heater, the higher your energy bill will be. However, you are in control of when the heater is operated. We can offer several suggestions on how you can reduce your energy bill while still enjoying your heated pool.

How warm should I keep my pool?

This is up to you. Generally, temperature that is most often recommended by the American Red Cross for recreational and competitive sports swimming is 78° F. This temperature level is also one of the best for energy conservation.

Swimmers who are elderly or very young may prefer water temperatures around 80° F or warmer.

A general rule of thumb that pleases the majority of people is to keep the pool water between 78° F and 82° F.

How much longer can I use my pool?

Depending on the weather, of course, it is not uncommon to double your “pool season” when you have a reliable swimming pool heater in operation.
